Kids Go Free at 2011 Festival Calle Orange in Orlando on October 23

Be sure to check out the 2011 Festival Calle Orange in Orlando on October 23, which is Central Florida’s largest Hispanic festival and brings together people of many nationalities, religions and backgrounds to enjoy food, music and dancing in the streets of downtown Orlando. The 13th annual festival began as a primarily Puerto Rican gathering but now encompasses a myriad of cultures – from Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. It features big names in the Latin music industry such as Grupo Mania, Tito Rojas, and Rey Ruiz to name just a few. The festival hours run from 11:00 am – 7:00pm and the cost to enter is $15.00 while children under 10 get in free. This fest will have lots of food from different vendors, and other booths showcasing various local businesses and talent. It is going to be out of this world!

More than 16 blocks of downtown Orlando are closed for this event, and it is estimated the festival will bring well over 50,000 people.
